Gaps are not always bad; Many actors, models and creative personalities have and desire their unique gaps in their smile (Kate Moss for example). However if you have gaps which you don't desire, correcting them can really help boost the confidence in you and your smile, and yes it is even possible to lessen but not completely eliminate the gap(s) if you want to embrace the look of "perfect imperfections".

Treatment varies based on how many gaps you would like to treat, how large the gaps are and your desired end result. Smaller, or fewer gaps can be treated well with composite bonding or porcelain veneers; while general spacing between teeth or larger gaps may require Invisalign treatment or braces.
