Crowded teeth
Causes: Problems with your baby teeth in childhood, genetics (eg. extra teeth, large teeth, misshaped teeth), Impacted (unerupted) teeth, tooth grinding
Treatments: Invisalign, braces and occasionally composite bonding or porcelain veneers
Correcting crowding can completely transform your smile, restoring symmetry and balance in your face. It can also help your dental hygiene as straight teeth tend to be easier to clean.
Treatment of choice for crowding or crooked teeth is almost always Invisalign or Braces. In the case of mild crowding or when Invisalign/braces are not suitable it can also be treated by composite bonding or porcelain veneer, but these options generally require some tooth re-shaping before treatment.
